One of the most accepted and proven causes of premature ageing, taking proper preventative and proactive measures to implement the counter-measures to the problem, we can effectively speed up and see anti-aging results like few thousand dollar skin care products could ever reproduce
Free radicals can best be explained without going into to much scientific detail, as incomplete molecules that have lost an electron due to oxidation reaction brought on by oxygen combustion. This reaction is natural in the bodies’ functions, but we are today more susceptible then ever to outside factors increasing the damage done.
The Oxidation process causes what is referred to as free radicals. These free radicals have lost an election and are then referred to as singlet oxygen (oxygen normally has two electrons) which is a highly unstable form, and in the process of trying to steal back the lost electron, or donating itself to another, creates a molecular havoc that begins to destroy, disrupt and damage cells in the vicinity. This natural and unpreventable (though limitable) process builds over time causing an accumulatively damaging effect and speeding up premature aging.
Armed with this information and antiaging research we realize that we need to eliminate and limit the amount of free radicals in our body disrupting cells and causing an accumulative aging effect.
Limiting the amount of free-radicals we ingest through as smoking, sun exposure, pollution exposure and certain foods can and will go along way in slowing down the free radical cellular damage build up, thus providing real results at a more core level then say an anti-aging wrinkle product.
Further more, the amazing nutrients known as the antiaging antioxidants work to reduce the energy levels of free radicals, and also by preventing many from forming altogether.
Common antiaging antioxidant rich vitamins and minerals such as; vitamin B2, vitamin C, vitamin E, coenzyme Q10, lycopene, beta-carotene, lutein, and cysteine (amino acid) provide truly powerful antioxidant protection for our bodies, and can effectively inhibit the wide array of health problems commonly associated with free radical build up.
Abundant in many fruits and vegetables as well as in nuts, fish and grains, it is important we utilize a proper and balanced diet to help in the big picture of our anti-aging desires.

This is by no means an exhaustive or complete list, but a quick glance and you may be able to more properly identify which of these areas you are more then likely depleted with. Making an educated observation like this will help you to be able to pick better antiaging dietary choices, or identify proper anti-aging supplements that you may want to take for increased free radical protection.
By introducing supplements and vitamins that are rich in that which we can guess we are lacking based on the types of diets we have, we can help to increase the levels of them we intake. Consider the above list and ponder which areas of nutrition you may have neglected, decide upon dietary changes you will implement in the future to increase your anti aging results, and choose the appropriate supplements available at your local health stores to make up for that which your daily life lacks.
